This > means greater than. 3 > 1 and 2 + 1 > 1

This < means less than. 3 < 4 and 1 + 2 < 4

This = means equals. 5 = 5 and 2 + 3 = 5

3 - 3 < 2 7 - 5 = 2 6 - 3 > 2 4 - 2 = 2
