2-33 Two-Digit Addition with Regrouping

When adding two digit numbers, you may need to regroup.

For example;

26 + 48 = 74.  When adding the 8 and 6, the sum is 14.

You need to regroup 14 ONES as 1 TEN and 4 ONES.

Place the one TEN in the TENS column and add the TENS place values.
