Little Bear has 24 bricks to build a wall.  The wall was 4 bricks high and 6 bricks across.  Little Bear painted the wall.   He painted the sides of the bricks that were not touching the ground and not touching other bricks.  How many sides of brick did Little Bear paint?

Mary, Jose, Phil, and Terry come to school in different ways.  One rides a bike, one comes by bus, one rides a ferry boat, and one walks.

Terry crosses a river to get to school.
