There are three kinds of angles: right, obtuse, and acute.
Look at the three kinds of angles below.

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

A right angle.

A right angle forms a corner of a square.  A right angle is 90 degrees.

An acute angle.

An acute angle is less than a right angle or less than 90 degrees.

An obtuse angle.

An obtuse angle is larger than a right angle or greater than 90 degrees.
