Let's Plant a Garden

Have you ever planted a vegetable garden?  It's fun to do!  You begin by planning on what you want to grow in your garden.  Then you have to decide how big to make it.  Have an adult help you prepare the soil for planting.

Vegetables can be planted as seeds or as small plants.  Seeds take longer, but they grow very well.  Be very careful when planting seeds and small plants.  Handle them carefully and water every day.

Once you see weeds growing, carefully pull them out.  Continue to water and soon you will see blossoms followed by vegetables.

Pick and enjoy the fresh vegetables from your garden.
