1. wheat 1.  a grain from which flour is made.   2.  the plant.
2. whimper 1.  cry with short, low sounds as a puppy cries:  Thunder makes my dog whimper.  2.  The sound of whimpering.
3. whisker 1.  one of the hairs growing on a man's face.   2. Whiskers usually means the hair on a man's cheeks and chin.
4. whisper 1.  speak very softly and low: Don't whisper to me in class.  2.  a very soft, low spoken sound:  She spoke in a whisper.

8. while 1. a length of time:  We stayed at the library a little while.  2. during the time that:  While it was raining, he cleaned his room.  3.  although:  While it rained all the time, I had fun at the picnic anyway.
9. whale a sea animal shaped like a huge fish.
10. whack 1. a sharp blow:  The lion gave the cub a whack with one paw.  2.  strike with a sharp blow.
