4-5 Spelling Tip

The z sound.
The z sound can be spelled with a z or an s.
The z sound is spelled with a z in zone and zoo.
The z sound is spelled with an s in cheese and please.

 

Words Definitions
1. prize 1.  a reward in a contest:  Thee prize goes to the winner.  2. worth a prize:  He grows prize vegetables in his garden.
2. cousin the son or daughter of your uncle or aunt.
3. raisin 1.  a sweet dried grape.  2.  made with raisins:  I like raisin pie.
4. zebra a wild animal somewhat like a horse or a donkey but striped with dark bands on white.
5. sneeze 1.  suddenly blow air through the nose and mouth.   2.  a sudden blowing of air through the nose and mouth:  they heard a loud sneeze in the other room. 
6. musician a person who sings or who plays a musical instrument.
7. reason a cause; whatever causes something to happen or someone to do something to do something:  Tell me your reason for not going.
8. zipper a kind of sliding lock that fastens together two edges.  Zippers are used to fasten clothes and other things.
9. visit 1.  go to see; come to see:  Are you going to visit New York?  2.  stay with; be a guest:  I visited my aunt last week.  3. the act of visiting:  Bobby came for a visit.
10. musical of music; sounding like music.
