Words Definitions
1. scoop 1. a tool like a shovel.  2.  a large, deep spoon to dip out things.  3.  take up or out with a scoop, or as a scoop does.
2. previous earlier:  He did better in the previous lesson.
3. moody 1.  likely to have changes of mood.  2.  often having gloomy moods:  She has been moody ever since she lost her job.  3.  sunk in sadness; gloomy; sullen.
4. route 1.  way to go; road:  Will you go to the coast by the northern route?  2.  send by a certain route:  The signs routed us to the cabin in the woods.
5. neighborhood 1.  the streets and houses surrounding the place you live.  2.  of a neighborhood:  a neighborhood newspaper.
6. soup a liquid food made by cooking meat, grains, vegetables, and other foods in water.
7. anxious 1.  uneasy because of thoughts or fears of what may happen; troubled; worried.  2.  causing uneasy feelings or troubled thoughts.   3. wishing very much; eager.
8. cousin the son or daughter of your uncle or aunt.
9. aloof 1.  at a distance or apart:  One boy stood aloof from all the others.  2. tending to keep to oneself; indifferent; reserved.
10. sewing 1. work on cloth with a needle and thread.  2. fasten or close with a needle and thread.
