6-28 Spelling Tip

Words ending in -ious
An adjective ia a word that describes a noun.
Adjectives that end in -ious describe nouns.
Suspicious and repetitious are examples of adjectives ending in -ious.

 

Words Definitions
1. delicious giving great pleasure; delightful
2. propitious likely to produce good results
3. repetitious tiresomely repeating
4. suspicious questionable
5. serious requiring much thought or work
6. vivacious full of life and good spirits
7. curious inquisitive
8. vicious likely to do evil
9. dubious causing doubt; uncertain
10. conscious aware of facts or feelings
