The United States has many types of resources or riches.  It has much farm land with rich soil.  The United States grows many types of plants including corn, wheat, soybean, and many fruits.  It has large forest land with many trees.  Many animals live in the forest including deer, bear, rabbits, turkey, bobcats, squirrels, and many types of birds.  The United States has many lakes, rivers, and streams.  It has a lot of the Earth's fresh water.  Many types of fish live in the water.  Some of the fish include salmon, bass, perch, bluegills, and trout.  You can find many types of rocks in the ground.  Some minerals you might find in the ground are copper, gold, silver, coal, and iron ore.
